Hightower today announced that Hightower Naples, a Naples, Florida-based wealth management practice overseeing approximately $1.1 billion in assets under management*, has joined The Bahnsen Group, a Hightower Company (“TBG”). As part of the move, Hightower Naples will operate under the TBG brand.

Hightower Naples is the first existing Hightower advisory practice to join TBG under Hightower’s flagship franchise model, establishing TBG’s second Florida location. The addition follows the closing of Hightower’s previously announced acquisition of TBG, which deepened a partnership that began in 2015 and expanded Hightower’s investment in TBG’s differentiated brand as a hub for integrating like-minded advisory teams.

Founded in 2015 when David Bahnsen joined Hightower with approximately $600 million in client assets* and eight team members, TBG has grown into one of Hightower’s largest and fastest-growing practices. Today, the practice manages more than $10.5 billion in client assets* and has more than 100 professionals across 13 locations nationwide. Hightower Naples complements TBG’s existing Palm Beach office and expands its presence in a growing market.

Founded and led by Managing Directors and Partners David Emma and Mark Masterson, Hightower Naples provides comprehensive wealth planning and investment management services to high-net-worth families, business owners, senior executives and professional athletes. Emma and Masterson joined Hightower in 2011 and have since grown the practice to serve more than 100 families.

“We have been deliberate about expanding into markets where we see significant long-term opportunity and where we can partner with teams that share our commitment to clients,” said David Bahnsen, Founder and Managing Partner of The Bahnsen Group. “Naples is a natural extension of our national footprint, and David, Mark and their team have built an outstanding practice with deep client relationships and a culture that aligns closely with our own. We are thrilled to welcome them to TBG.”

“Joining TBG allows us to build on what has made Hightower Naples successful while adding greater depth and scale,” said Emma. “Our clients will continue to work with the same team they know and trust, supported by the broader capabilities of a growing national practice that shares our client-first approach.”

“This combination creates new opportunities for our clients and our team,” added Masterson. “TBG’s investment capabilities, national reach and commitment to growth make it the right partner for our next chapter.”

The transaction expects to close at year end and advances TBG’s geographic expansion across key wealth markets. In addition to its flagship offices in Newport Beach and New York City, the firm has established locations in Nashville, Minneapolis, Austin, Phoenix, Dallas, Palm Beach, Bend, Grand Rapids, Silicon Valley, Santa Barbara and Pittsburgh.

Hightower expects to announce additional acquisitions into TBG in the coming months.
