The Latin Recording Academy® announced the nominees for the 27th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards®, the preeminent international honor celebrating excellence in Latin music, and the only accolade awarded by music industry professionals. The Latin Academy’s membership body of music creators, who represent all genres and creative disciplines—including recording artists, songwriters, producers, recording engineers and mixers—vote during the Awards Process.
This year’s Album Of The Year category features a balance of genre, generation, country of origin and gender, and the nominees reflect the diversity within Latin music as it continues to increase its cultural influence worldwide: EQUILIBRIVM (Anitta), Free Spirits (CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso), Taracá (Jorge Drexler), Vendrán Suaves Lluvias (Silvana Estrada), Tropicoqueta (Karol G), Femme Fatale (Mon Laferte), Muda (Carín León), La Vida Era Más Corta (Milo J), ¿Dónde Es El After? (Rawayana), and Lux (Complete Works) (Rosalía).
The Best New Artist category once again showcases a unique set of nominees, whose diversity reaffirms The Latin Academy’s commitment to provide opportunities for all artists. Nominated this year are Delilah, FABIAN, Loulu Gilberto, Arath Herce, Macario Martínez, maye, Sofia Monroy, Kendall Peña, Dora Sanches, ARIA VEGA and Zeca Veloso.
“We are honored to present this year’s nominees for the 27th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards,” said Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy. “These artists reflect the extraordinary diversity and constant evolution of Latin music, and our Academy continues to evolve in response to this dynamic, creative landscape. At the heart of our Awards Process are our members, whose participation and expertise ensure that the Latin GRAMMY® remains the benchmark for excellence in Latin music.”
The 27th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards nominees were selected in 60 categories and reflect an expansive range of artists who released recordings during the eligibility period (June 1, 2025, through May 31, 2026). All songs that are considered for nominations must be new songs and contain a minimum percentage of lyric content (60%) in Spanish, Portuguese, or any native regional language.
The final round of voting to determine the Latin GRAMMY winners is open to all active, voting members of The Latin Recording Academy, and will begin on October 1, 2026. The 27th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will air live on Univision on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2026, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
