The impact investment firm grows as a multi-asset-class platform and takes on management of the Align Impact Funds, updating its name from Gratitude Railroad.
PARK CITY, UT, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Gratitude Ventures, an impact investment manager and community of investors focused on mission-driven businesses, today announced two milestones marking its growth: it has updated its name from Gratitude Railroad to Gratitude Ventures, and become the investment manager for the $50+ million Align Impact Fund-of-Funds series. The firm, its team, its ownership, and the way it invests are unchanged.
Gratitude Ventures began over a decade ago as a small community investing in companies and funds one deal at a time. It has grown into a network of 180 investors and a multi-asset-class investment platform spanning direct venture, private market fund of funds, and joint ventures across private equity and renewable energy financing. The firm is overseen by a professional team, experienced investment committees, and a fiduciary board. The updated name reflects this growth and makes it clearer what the firm does today.
The name carries two ideas chosen on purpose. Gratitude speaks to the company’s history as well as how it invests. Ventures speaks to what it builds, both in the investment sense and more broadly.
Gratitude Ventures has become the investment manager for the Align Impact Funds (AIF), a $50+ million fund-of-funds and multi-asset-class portfolio previously managed by the advisory firm Align Impact, which closed earlier this year. The transition provides continuity for those investors under a broader platform and brings the AIF investors into the Gratitude Ventures community.
“We are building on our past and toward the future,” said Rebekah Saul Butler, Managing Partner and Co-CEO. “Our core values, community, and belief that businesses are critically important to solving environmental and social problems remain intact. We are now building to scale our impact through a larger platform and alongside new partners.”
“Gratitude is how we operate. Ventures is what we do: build, back entrepreneurs, and move resources toward change. We are building for the future, and we want investors who are new to this to see themselves in it,” said Thomas Knowles, Managing Partner and Co-CEO.
For existing investors and portfolio companies, the firm’s ownership, agreements, and tax identification numbers are unchanged. The underlying entities have been renamed Gratitude Ventures Group LLC and Gratitude Ventures Management LLC, and the firm operates as Gratitude Ventures. Email and web addresses are migrating to the Gratitude Ventures domain, and prior addresses will forward during the transition.
