Ingredient innovator launched SweetVantage® with stevia Reb M9 and brazzein and the VasoRush™ dipeptide complex, and showcased its latest innovations in dipeptides, fermentation and ingredient purification in Las Vegas

Precise Ingredients,” showcased its latest innovations at SupplySide Global 2026, held October 28–30 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. At Booth #5952, the NNB team met with formulators, brand owners and media across four areas of innovation: natural sweetener technology, dipeptide-based performance ingredients, ultra-pure creatine, and fermentation-derived actives for longevity and cognition.

Sweetener innovation: SweetVantage® and SweetVantage®+ with brazzein

SweetVantage® is a fermented steviol glycoside blend that now features NNB’s patented stevia Reb M9, the result of three years and $2.5 million in research. It is designed to target the front, middle and back of the palate for a rounder, more sugar-like sweetness, with lower astringency than other natural sweeteners and a lower cost than stevia Reb M. In a research panel, stevia Reb M9 performed closest to sugar versus other natural sweeteners, and the entire blend can be labeled simply as “Steviol Glycosides.”

SweetVantage®+ takes the platform further by adding brazzein, a fermented, sweet, non-caloric protein. The patent-pending combination of stevia Reb M9 and brazzein is designed for bitterness masking and enhanced sweetness perception, giving formulators a natural option for hard-to-flavor products such as EAAs, herbal extracts, protein, greens and complex sports formulas — applications that have traditionally relied on sucralose or bitter blockers. NNB can tailor the brazzein ratio to each formula’s sweetness and bitter-blocking needs.

Dipeptide innovation: VasoRush™ and DL 185®

Dipeptides are pairs of amino acids bonded together with a peptide bond. Both of NNB’s dipeptide ingredients occur in nature.

VasoRush™ is a 2:1 di-citrulline + di-arginine peptide complex designed to rethink nitric oxide delivery by focusing on vasodilation efficiency through cGMP, the signaling molecule that drives vascular relaxation. These dipeptides occur naturally in peptide structures found in food and human biology, and qualify as legal dietary ingredients that do not require new regulatory registrations. In the EU, a legal assessment concluded that di-arginine and di-citrulline should not be classified as novel foods. In NNB’s in-house pre-clinical testing at a human-equivalent dose of 2.7 g/day, VasoRush™ increased plasma cGMP by 85%, kept nitric oxide elevated for up to six hours, and increased running time to exhaustion by 15.9% versus exercise control, outperforming higher 8 g doses of citrulline, citrulline malate and arginine.

DL 185® is dileucine (L-Leucyl-L-Leucine), two L-leucine molecules enzymatically bonded together. DL 185® is naturally occurring in protein foods, but at very low levels: it would take 159 g of whey protein concentrate or 219 g of pea protein to equal a single 2 g serving. In human research, 2 g of DL 185® delivered 86% more leucine to muscles within 30 minutes and a 60% greater increase in muscle protein synthesis compared with the same amount of leucine (Paulussen et al., 2021), and supported strength gains compared with placebo in a multi-week training study (Hagele et al., 2024). DL 185® is patented and available exclusively from NNB Nutrition.
