Leonel Lejandro Laferte, 21, appeared in court following accusations in a fatal hit-and-run incident that involved a cyclist in Hialeah, Miami-Dade. The crash took place early Friday morning at the intersection of Southeast Fourth Avenue and Okeechobee Road.
